All annual courses are available January 1 through December 31 each year and are archived at the end of the year.  You must print and save your certificate(s) by December 31 of the current year (12/31/xxxx).

This course is designed to increase knowledge about Sudden Infant Death Syndrome and to inform First Responders of risk reduction strategies. As a result of participating in this course, participants should be able to define SIDS, identify SIDS as the leading cause of death of infants between one month and one year of age, identify sleep environment dangers, identify the First Responder's role in responding to a sudden infant death. We also discuss potential grief responses, causes of sudden infant death, and the differences between sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) and child abuse.

This course was designed to equip and train fire department personnel with the necessary tools to properly identify, treat, and refer patients who are victims of domestic violence.

After completing this course, the fire fighter should have a greater awareness of the issues affecting fire fighter safety relative to riding on fire apparatus and operating at roadway emergency scenes. The fire fighter will also understand basic strategies for improving safety during vehicle and roadway incident operations.

This Course meets the requirements of the Vanessa K. Free Emergency Services Training Act of 2005.

In this course you will learn the definition of a "critical incident” and how to recognize the signs and symptoms of critical incident stress.

You will also learn the definition of Critical Incident Stress Management, its utility and limitations, what to expect when attending a defusing or debriefing and also internal mechanisms to survive an exposure to a critical incident.

This Course will demonstrate the basic knowledge required to recognize the presence of bloodborne pathogens and the precautions that can be taken to protect against them. The course meets requirements established by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration
