After completing the course the student will have met the sections required for an Inspector I in the NFPA® 1030, Standard for Professional Qualifications for Fire Prevention Program Positions, 2024, Chapter 7. Students who successfully complete the certification process will be certified as an Inspector I by the TN Firefighting Commission. This does not authorize you to conduct inspections within the State of Tennessee as a certified inspector. The steps needed to obtain licensure from the State Fire Marshal’s Office are explained in the course.
This is a self-paced online hybrid course which requires the student to complete practical exercises under the direction of their Company Officer or Training Division.
