Fire Instructor 1

Fire Instructor I is designed to teach firefighters the knowledge and ability to deliver instruction effectively from a prepared lesson plan, including instructional aids and evaluation instruments; adapt lesson plans to the unique requirements of the students and authority having jurisdiction; organize the learning environment so that learning is maximized; and meet the record-keeping requirements of authority having jurisdiction.  

• Upon successful completion of this course, you will be eligible to take the Tennessee Commission on Fire Fighting Fire Instructor I test.

The courses on this site are for Tennessee Firefighting Commission testing.  Therefore, to obtain IFSAC or ProBoard certification the student would need to be associated with a local agency.
